In this paper, we propose a supervised music source separation method using acoustic features for music composed of multiple music sources recorded individually. As an extension of Non-negative Matrix Factorization (NMF), which is one of the sound source separation methods, Cepstral Distance Regularization (CDR) has been proposed. This method let the spectral envelope of individual instruments follows the distribution of the spectral envelope of the training data using acoustic features. The Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC), which is generally used as an acoustic feature quantity, is one of the cepstrum analyzes based on human pitch perception and is used for speech recognition and the like. The Short-Time Fourier Transform (STFT) used to calculate the MFCC has a trade-off relationship between frequency resolution and time resolution so that there is a problem that the resolution of low frequencies is not sufficient for music composed of a wide frequency band. Therefore, in the proposed method uses the Constant-Q Cepstral Coefficient(CQCC). This is an acoustic feature made by Constant-Q Transform (CQT), that performs time-frequency analysis while changing the window width so that the resolution is constant at any frequency by cepstrum analysis. |
