Development of a Live Streaming System for Virtual Reality Event Showing States of a Performer's and an Audience's Electroencephalograms

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, we developed a live streaming system. The system generates visual effects according to the EEG of a performer and an audience in a show held in a VR space. The visual effects can be viewed and shared by the performer and the audience in real time. We adopted a juggling performance show as an event in the VR space. We confirmed that the beta/alpha ratio calculated from the EEG of the performer during juggling in the VR environment reflected the degree of the performer's concentration. We also confirmed that the beta/alpha ratio decreased when the performer performed while watching the visual effects generated by their EEG.
