ICN (Information Centric Network) has been attracting attention as a promising architecture for efficient content delivery. However, the data transfer order control method used in the current ICN content routers may increase retransmission timeout when congestion occurs, and decrease the consumer's received bit rate. Therefore, we propose a packet scheduling method based on fuzzy theory for streaming delivery in ICN. This method uses fuzzy theory to determine the priority of each chunk of content that arrives at the output queue of the content router, based on the number of requests, required range, and playback order. Then, forwarding order control is performed according to the priority. Simulation evaluation shows that the proposed method can improve the received bit rate of consumers. |
