A Printed-Inverted F Antenna Combined with Two L-Shaped Elements for Dual Band Circular Polarization

(in English) The authors have proposed a printed IFA (Inverted F antenna) for dual band circular polarization. In our previous study, the sense of the circularly polarized waves differs between the two frequency bands (dual-sense and dual-band antenna). In this paper, we propose a printed IFA for single-sense and dual-band circular polarization. In order to achieve single-sense and dual-band circular polarization, the two L-shaped elements are loaded into the antenna proposed in our previous study. In addition, the operational principle of circularly polarized radiation will be examined by using electric current distribution. Moreover, the parametric studies are discussed. In the simulation, the bandwidth of 10dB-return loss and 3dB-axis ratio is 4.05% in the lower frequency band and it is 6.97% in the higher frequency band.
