Program code development performance estimation using a peer assessment technique

(in English) Peer assessment data in open answer session of programming language
practices were analyzed with the item response theory (IRT) based
generalized many-facet Rasch model (GMFRM).
The peer assessment was conducted in five sessions as rating grades by peers to the artifacts produced during a credit course for freshmen at a university.
Though the peer ratings in five sessions were sparse data because of practical learning course data, the estimated ability and rating characteristics for all participants were extracted without missing.
The estimated ability strongly correlates with teacher's rating and final grade.
The characteristics of peer assessment session including learning topics were also evaluated with peer assessment data.
