Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have studied on a technology to verify an individual by drawing asimple symbol that everyone are familiar and never forgets. Individuals are asked to draw a symbol by using their fingertipson a digital device screen. In this study, we measured various features such as finger pressure, touch area and touch direction that are directly detected by a tablet device. In addition, we calculate the finger volume, force and amount of work that are derived from the directly detected features. After that, we evaluate the verification performance of these features.
