In this paper, we report the results of a simple transmission rate evaluation of a 5G system using the K-factor, based on the received power distribution actually measured in an urban environment. In the proposed method, when there are two data streams, the first The proposed method is based on the fact that when there are two data streams, the first eigenvalue corresponds to the SNR and the second eigenvalue corresponds to the effect of spatial division multiplexing in MIMO. From the results of applying the proposed method in a real environment, we clarify the difference in transmission rate characteristics due to the difference in K-factor distribution. In addition, we compare the proposed method with the conventional method using the propagation channel. Also, the proposed method is applied to a real environment, and the differences in transmission rate characteristics due to differences in K-factor distribution are shown. |
