In recent years, wireless systems that do not cause communication errors are desired in the field of factory automation (FA).
In this paper, we present a highly reliable industrial wireless LAN system based on the IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN standard.
In particular, to guarantee the reliability of the system, we propose a retransmission method in case of data errors, and a transmission method using PDMA and FDMA,
In particular, the system is designed to support retransmission processing in case of data errors and simultaneous communication with multiple terminals using PDMA and FDMA transmission methods,
In order to guarantee the reliability of the network, we have implemented original specifications in the MAC layer and PHY layer, which are the lower layers of the network.
On the other hand, in order to guarantee the high reliability, it is important to formulate the communication error rate, because it takes a long time to verify it.
In this study, a method to quantitatively evaluate the reliability of a system that can operate stably for three years is studied by formulating the communication error rate, assuming a real environment.
The reliability of the system is evaluated.
In this evaluation, it was found that if at least one system retransmission and two retransmissions in the wireless LAN part are performed in the communication of the system, the reliability of the system can be evaluated.
In this evaluation, we confirmed that the reliability of the system can be guaranteed even after three years of operation. Therefore, we were able to evaluate the system by obtaining the error rate from the formulation. |
