Projected gradient MIMO signal detection using Chebyshev step
Asahi Mizukoshi, Tadashi Wadayama, Satoshi Takabe (NITech) IT2021-25
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper proposes a projected gradient detection method using the Chebyshev steps for a signal detector in a MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) channels.
In the proposed method, the Chebyshev steps is used as step size parameter in the gradient step of the projected gradient detection method, where the Chebyshev steps are a step size parameter that minimize a tight upper bound of the spectral radius that governs a convergence behavior of gradient descent method.
Computer experiments show that the proposed method provides better detection performance than conventional detection methods due to the acceleration of convergence due to the Chebyshev steps.
Moreover, the proposed scheme provides excellent detection performance even if the channel detection problem is ill-conditioned.
