To increase the variable transmission capacity of the underwater optical wireless communication system using the visible light wavelength band single carrier method that is excellent for long-distance transmission, we examined the hybrid PAM method that can freely change the generation ratio of two types of intensity-modulated signals on the software. Under the condition that the two parameters of the PAM2 signal and PAM4 signal generation ratio and the average power ratio were optimized, the maximum transmission capacity for the target transmission distance was compared by numerical analysis and simulation. |
