Quasi-millimeter-wave band such as 28 GHz band used in the fifth generation wireless communications has high straightness and high propagation loss characteristics.
Therefore, coverage holes are occurred at N-LoS (Non-Line-of-Sight) environment.
To improve this problem, mesa-surface reflector which can control the reflection of the radio waves to desired direction is studied.
By using anechoic chamber and measuring instruments under some conditions, measurement systems for the scattering pattern of meta-surface reflector in the 28 GHz band are examined in this paper.
The scattering characteristics of the reflector in simulation and measurement are shown by using two types of measurement system.
