(in English) Many companies, such as automotive parts suppliers, carry out many-kinds wide-area mass-production in the world. In such companies, it is important whether improvement knowledge of the production systems can be transferred from one factory to the others or not for improvement of quality and productivity. Traditionally, well-experienced engineers visited each factory one by one and tried to transfer such knowledge through on-the-job training. It becomes, however, difficult to carry out such a method anymore because the number of overseas factories have increased and the market is changing rapidly. In this study, we develop a systematic support method for improving production systems. This method allows process designers to examine and identify improvement targets logically, find out helpful information about the targets from lots of past improvement examples, and devise better improvement plans than ever. In this report, we propose modeling technique of production systems by combining the IDEF0 and attribute dependency graph. We also propose a procedure to narrow down the scope of improvement plans of a production system based on the proposed technique.
