In MIC Wireless COE project “R&D and human resource development program on frequency creation technology for tough and flexible radio wave utilization,” we promote 5 research and development sub-projects to study several technologies to utilize radio resources efficiently and resiliently. Through these sub-projects, we try to train up young researchers and students so that they can create innovation in the area of radio utilization to solve social issues. As a part of this Wireless COE project, we maintain an open research site with a large anechoic chamber, several kinds of measurement equipment and CAD software tools. This research site is available to researchers who engage in non-commercial studies on technologies to utilize radio resources efficiently and resiliently. This paper first provides an overview of this Wireless COE project. Next, it introduces the equipment available to researches, and instructs how to apply to use the research site. |
