[Technology Exhibit] Wireless IoT Real Time Spectrum Monitor Based on Direct RF Undersampling Reception Technique

(in English) In near future wireless IoT era, various and huge number of sensors/devices will be connected to the internet by wireless to realize Society 5.0 or Industry 4.0. For this wireless connection, WiFi, Bluetooth, RFID, Wi-SUN and 5G system are or will be introduced. In the case of dense sensors/devices area such as factory or office, the interference between different wireless systems becomes a problem. To solve this problem, a multi-band (which covers wireless IoT bands) real time spectrum monitor is required. In this paper, a novel multi-band/millisecond (ms) order real time spectrum monitor using direct RF undersampling reception architecture is presented. This monitor is able to measure the frequency occupancy ratio which shows the congestion of certain frequency band.
