Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, the IoT systems that supports the lives of people and social activities by collecting and analyzing data related with the various state of human, things and location in real world are attracting attention. On the other hands, in order for the IoT system to function correctly, the integrity of the data generated by a variety of IoT devices deployed in the real world (IoT data) should be guaranteed. In order to guarantee the integrity of IoT data, the IoT data management infrastructure based on the blockchain technology has been proposed so far. However, the existing infrastructure cannot detect anomalies and tampering of the data during the data registration to the blockchain. In our previous study, we have proposed a new integrity verification method where the IoT devive which generates the data (generator) asks the neighboring IoT devices (collaborators) to generate the same type of data, and verifies whether the data has been tampered or not by comparing the data obtained from both of the generator and the collaborators. The reliability of the verification method is based on the assumption that the collaborators definitely exist in the vicinity of the generator, but the method does not have a function for guaranteeing proximity between the generator and the collaborators. Therefore, in this study, we develop a new reliability verification method to guarantee the proximity of the IoT devices. In the proposed method, both the generator and the collaborators measure the same kind of the data whose trend data obtained from both devices is verified to guarantee the proximity. Futhermore, in order to verify the effectiveness of the data management infrastructure with the proposed method, we will design and prototype a specific system for the vehicle management.
