A Frame Timing Detection Scheme Using Multiple Zadoff-Chu Sequences for DS-SS Systems Employing Space-time Block Codes

(in English) This paper proposes a frame timing detection scheme for direct sequence spread spectrum employing space-time block codes (STBC) for low power wide area (LPWA) networks. We have proposed a initial code acquisition scheme robust against a frequency offset using two chirp signals. The proposed scheme performs the frame timing detection and initial code acquisition by using the combination of two signals and different STBC codings. By using computer simulations, we present that the proposed scheme can improve the 1− detect probabilities of the frame timing by 10 ~100 times in the presence of a large frequency offset.
