| (in English) | In terms of communication protocols and network device configuration information used at the Layer 3 level and above, it is difficult to properly grasp the entire configuration with only the information necessary for network construction and operation. In particular, a network diagram is a method of documenting configuration information. However, a network diagram is considered to have limitations as a method for properly grasping the configuration of a network with a large number of protocols. In this paper, we propose a metamodel of network configuration information so that developers and operators can refer to complete network configuration information including parameters and configuration information such as communication protocols and device information for protocols, VLANs and device settings that are difficult to document. We also report on an application case in which we were able to show the configuration information of a real network using a model that conforms to the metamodel. | |
