Automatic method for physical connection configuration and data stream visualization between network devices in system using SNMP

(in English) Information systems have changed from centralized architecture in the mainframe era to distributed systems through open architecture. Networks are connected to various devices through the use of cloud and IoT, and meshing is expanding. Meshing of networks causes unpredictable problems and requires advanced technology to determine the cause. In particular, problems in which network devices do not notify errors lead to a prolonged investigation if the device recognized as abnormal is different from the device that caused the problem. Such problems can be prevented from prolonging the investigation period by making all the communication data flowing through the network visible. In this study, we established a method for automating "physical connection of network equipment" and "data stream visualization" to realize a panoramic view of communication data, and verified the validity of the method by comparing the results generated from communication data actually obtained from a real-world verification system with the contents of the setting.
