The effect of edge direction in visual stimulus for SSVEP evoking
Tsutomu Yoshida, Masaki Ohashi, Akitoshi Itai (Chubu Univ.) SIS2020-53
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The Steady-State Visual Evoked Potential(SSVEP) is an electroencephalogram evoked when our attention is toward a visual stimulus with periodic blinking.
It is often used as an input of a brain computer interface.
Various visual stimuli such as form, color and position are proposed to enhance SSVEP.
However, the completely mechanism of SSVEP evoking is not cleared.
In this paper, we propose visual stimuli with different edge direction to investigate relationship between the lower visual cortex and the SSVEP evoking.
