Performance evaluation of traffic vehicle group guidance method based on proximity information sharing -- Impact of percentage of proximity information sharing vehicles --
Shogo Amita, Akihiro Fujihara (Chiba Inst. Tech.) IN2020-72
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A route guidance method has been proposed in which each evacuee autonomously collects
information on roads that are impassable due to fire or collapsed buildings during a
disaster, and does proximity information sharing with each other to speed up movement
to the destination.
In this paper, we apply this research to traffic vehicles and report our simulation
results on the effect of the ratio of proximity information-sharing traffic vehicles
on the performance of route guidance. As a result of comparison with the case without
proximity information sharing using the Wilcoxon rank sum test, it was confirmed that
the effect of reducing travel time and distance was significantly improved even when
the percentage of vehicles with proximity information sharing was 25%, when the scale
of the road network was large and there were many road closures.
