次世代移動通信におけるM2M(machine to machine)通信は,大量の無線端末を運用すると共に高い信頼性と短い遅延時間,並びに高い電力効率が求められており,D2D(device to device)通信の無線端末間の直接通信により上記の要求条件を大方満足できる.一方で,M2M端末は処理能力やストレージに制約があるため,基地局上のクラウド利用が提案されているが,基地局との通信により遅延時間が大幅に増加する.そこで,端末の近くでM2M通信を局所的に管理しながらデータ処理を行うFog Nodeの導入が提案されている.しかしながら,直接通信に比べて通信経路が増え帯域を専有しやすいので,リソース共有を積極的に行い,周波数利用効率を上げる必要がある.そこで本報告では,Fog Nodeに干渉キャンセラの一種であるSIC (successive interference cancelation)を導入し,周波数有効利用を更に図るためにリソース再利用を提案する.計算機シミュレーションにより,提案方式は通信経路が増えて遅延時間に下限があるものの,通信路容量を送信電力で割った電力効率を大幅に向上できることを示す. |

In the next generation mobile communication system, the M2M (machine-to-machine) communication is required to meet high reliability, short delay time, and high power efficiency, as well as a large number of wireless terminals to be accommodated. The D2D (device-to-device) communication directly connects devices to other devices, which can satisfy most of the above requirements. Since M2M terminals have insufficient processing power and storage, a cloud on the base station has proposed to help the terminals do information processing. However, communications between the terminals and base station can drastically increase latency of M2M applications. To tackle this problem, the deployment of Fog Nodes, which locally manage the M2M communications near the terminals while processing data, has been proposed. Since the Fog Node increases the number of times of transmission more than the direct communication, however, the frequency resource is more likely to be exhausted. Therefore, it is necessary to improve frequency utilization efficiency by actively sharing the resource. For this purpose, the report proposes a transmission scheme to employ successive interference cancellation (SIC), one of the interference cancelers at the Fog Node and to share wireless channels with the cellular system. Computer simulations show that the proposed scheme can significantly improve the power efficiency, which is defined as the ratio of the channel capacity to the transmission power, although the delay time is longer than one slot time due to the increase in the number of times of transmission. |
