The design of high power density automotive DC – DC converter using GaN transistor is reported in this paper. Cooperation of electronics and thermal design is necessary for better and smaller power electronics design. Electromagnetics and thermal co-simulation method is established and used for dc – dc converter design. As a result, 9.5 kW/L high power density dc-dc converter is achieved. |
