Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Several methods for solving the asymmetric traveling salesman problem using chaotic neural networks is proposed by Tachibana et al. The common feature of these methods is that they use multiple point exchange methods. Also, these methods use chaotic neural networks to select the point exchange method to be used among the multiple point exchange methods.
In this method, the results suggest that the chaotic neural network can be used for adaptive switching. Therefore, we conducted a survey to find out the reason why the chaotic neural network gives a good solution when it is used.
