A study on inter-block interference suppression for wireless transmission with frequency-domain equalization

(in English) The overlap frequency domain equalization(FDE) method without using guard interval has been proposed to improve
transmission efficiency. It uses only the central part of the equalized block in order to avoid the inter block interference(IBI).
We proposed the overlap FDE method using coherent averaging. It reduces the effects of inter-block interference by averaging
the same signal components extracted from equalized different blocks. In this paper, we propose a hybrid coherent averaging
method that the central part of the equalized block in the overlap FDE is reduced to decrease the influence of interference,
and then coherent averaging is performed. A computer simulation shows that the proposed method can improve the bit error
rate(BER) performance.
