Examination of optimal placement of circular antenna for LoS-MIMO transmission using GA

(in English) In this report, we propose a method that does not depend on the transmission / reception distance and does not reduce the channel capacitance in LOS-MIMO transmission using a circular array antenna. In LOS-MIMO transmission, there is an optimum equidistant antenna element spacing according to the transmission distance. The maximum efficiency can be transmitted at a specific transmission distance corresponding to the optimum element spacing, but the transmission efficiency drops significantly at other than the specific transmission distance. However, it is known that the minimum characteristics can be raised at the cost of lowering the maximum characteristics by intentionally arranging the elements at non-equal intervals instead of equal intervals. Therefore, in this report, under the constraint condition of a circular array that also considers the mounting of the antenna, the genetic algorithm (GA) is the optimum antenna non-uniform element arrangement that does not depend on the transmission / reception distance and does not reduce the channel capacitance in LOS-MIMO transmission. ) Is used to derive the effect.
