Proposal of a Method for Reducing the Amount of Calculation for Downlink Non-orthogonal Multiple Access

(in English) In this paper, we propose a method to reduce the amount of calculation, which has been a problem in the conventional method [3], for the algorithm of UE scheduling and transmission power distribution in downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), and evaluate its throughput characteristics. In the conventional method, the amount of calculation proportional to the square of the number of UEs was required. On the other hand, reference [4] proposes a method of reducing the amount of calculation by using a cost function. In this paper, the conventional method [3] and the proposed method are evaluated in the same multi-cell environment, and the proposed method is shown to be superior in terms of average throughput characteristics and computational load.
