A Proposal of Frame Synchronization Method for Parallel Transmission Visible Light Communications

(in English) For parallel transmission Visible Light Communications using a liquid crystal display and an image sensor, frame synchronization between frames displayed on the liquid crystal display and frames captured by the image sensor is necessary. In this manuscript, we propose a new frame synchronization method using pilot bits embedded into the frequency domain of images. We construct a prototype of the propose method and evaluate its performance.
