Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A 24GHz band WiCoPT (Wireless Communication and Power Transmission) demo system has been developed for battery-less sensor networks. The transmission station consists of four transmission modules and a 24-elements array antenna. A new bandpass filter that suppresses spurious signals has also been developed. The module RF output was 28dBm, the antenna gain was 18dBi, and the side-lobe level was -13dB. An LED was lit successfully in a 1m transmission experiment. However, since the demo system generates 40W of heat, heat radiation structure was studied so that it can be driven continuously.
