In this study, barium titanate single crystal fine particles used for inkjet-printing method were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis. Barium hydroxide aqueous solution, aqueous titanium compound, and sodium hydroxide aqueous solution were used as starting materials. It was confirmed that barium titanate fine particles can be synthesized at a temperature of 200°C. The crystal phase of synthetic fine particles could be controlled by using surfactants, and cubic-shape fine particles was obtained. It was also clarified that the non-uniformity of crystal phase and particle size can be suppressed by adjusting the concentration of starting materials. |
