Success factors on long-term large-scale collaborative research between university and industry -- Case study on collaboration program with industry in Osaka University --

(in English) The purpose of this study is to consider how the long-term large-scale university-industry collaboration worked, and the factors behind the success of management. This research tracked the system design and operation of the university's collaboration system with industry, and how companies utilize the on-campus R & D base for collaboration with faculty members and other companies. The author points out the importance of trusting university-industry collaboration program and building trust in partner organizations in addition to mutual trust between researchers in order for large-scale university-industry collaboration to succeed.
