[Invited Lecture] Undersea optical wireless communication technology and its expansion to novel networks

(in English) Research and development of underwater optical wireless communication, which is excellent in large-capacity communication, is regarded as important for the dramatic development of seafloor exploration technology and seafloor observation technology by IoT technology in the future. Therefore, we propose a novel long-haul multi-hop optical wireless core network that connects multiple access points with relay nodes. After explaining the transceiver technology of optical wireless terminals from the viewpoint of system design, we will show the analysis results of the optimum arrangement of multiple terminals from the viewpoint of network design.
