Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have proposed a high-sensitivity diode rectifier that supports weak radio waves for application to RF energy harvesting. By loading an inductor that resonates in series with the parasitic capacitance of the diode, not only can the effect of effectively lowering the threshold voltage of the diode be achieved, but also non-reflection is realized without wasting even a small amount of RF input power. This paper describes a method of expanding the operating band of a rectifier by resonating at multiple frequencies. In addition, in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method, we report the results of trial evaluation of a rectifier that supports weak radio waves in the terrestrial digital TV band (470-710 MHz).
