[Poster Presentation] A Study of Method to Model Network Configuration in Static Routing for Real Network

(in English) To operate the network, it is necessary to document and properly manage the configuration information of a real
network. The information of being managed includes the connection between devices and the protocol of each device. Previous
studies proposed documenting the configuration information of a real network, and it is possible to show the connection
between devices and the IP addresses assigned to them. However, there is a problem that the description method has not been
settled, for example, the exact information on each router and the port number of the switch is not sufficiently organized. The
purpose of this study is to rigorously model the configuration information so that the description of the network configuration
information is consistent across the manager. In this paper report, we report the results of partial metamodel construction
of a real network that can be designed by static routing as a preliminary step. Static routing is a technique in which the
network administrator manually defines the routing table. The metamodel refers to a model that strictly describes the network
configuration information, which includes exact information such as connections between devices, IP addresses assigned to
devices, information about each router and switch port numbers, etc. This paper investigates modeling of the configuration
information of a real network using the defined metamodel and found it useful for modeling without any deficiency.
