Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) To minimize damage during disasters, the rapid collection and delivery of accurate information are essential. From this perspective, the use of social media, especially Twitter, in the case of a disaster has been attracted worldwide attention. In this study, we consider visualizing the contents of the tweets posted at the time of the Kyushu flood disaster in July 2020. We also develop a system to visualize the contents of the tweets and the precipitation on the day simultaneously. Besides, we report the changes in tweet characteristics depending on the time of day and the difference between the tweets in the Kyushu flood disaster in July 2020 and the tweets in the 2018 Western Japan heavy rain disaster.
