In this research, we design a hardware of human recognition using Multiresolution Co-occurrence Histograms of Oriented Gradients (MRCoHOG) features and implement to Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) for accelerating it. We propose a pipelined architecture of classifier, based on binarized neural networks (BNN) to solve large memory resources of FPGA for storing features. We verified the effectiveness of the designed circuits for a binary classifier that recognizes an input image is human being or not for an image size of 32 times 64 pixels. Experimental results show that the proposed method reduces memory resources for storing features completely about compared with the ordinary method. |
