(in English) This paper presents radiation phase control of a double-layered ring microstrip antenna fed by an L-probe with a variable reactance element. A beam adjustable microstrip antenna array (BA-MSAA) has a feature of radiation pattern reconfigurability with a simple configuration. In order to enhance radiation pattern reconfigurability of the BA-MSAA, it is necessary to feed all the elements of the BA-MSAA and to control radiation phases of the MSAs individually. A single-layered ring microstrip antenna fed by an L-probe with a variable reactance element and a coupling microstrip line inside the radiation patch for radiation phase control has been proposed. In this paper, a double-layered ring microstrip antenna fed by an L-probe with a variable reactance element and a coupling microstrip line beneath the radiation patch is proposed. Performance of radiation phase control of the proposed MSA obtained by the simulation is presented.
