Study on Applying Radio -Wave Encryption to Interleave Division Multiple Access Scheme

(in English) One of the main use cases of the fifth-generation mobile communications system (5G) is massive machine-type communications (mMTC), which accommodates wireless access from many Internet of Things (IoT) terminals. As one of the methods for mMTC, interleave division multiple access (IDMA) scheme has been studied. Meanwhile, there is a security problem that more and more cyber-attacks to IoT have been increased every year. As the first step of the solution, we propose a single user chaos IDMA (SUC-IDMA) scheme that applies chaotic coded modulation to one of the users IDMA accommodates. Then, we evaluate the block error rate (BLER) performances of SUC-IDMA by numerical simulations, and clarify the superiority of the proposed scheme to existing methods from the perspectives of physical layer security and channel coding gain. Finally, we discuss the potential of applying chaotic coded modulation to all IDMA users.
