Measurement of swallowing muscle activity during sleep using electromyography

(in English) The authors are trying to measure the swallowing muscle activity while sitting using a sensor sheet with multiple disposable electrodes. Swallowing during sleep is known to be swallowed several times per hour, but the intervals between swallows are irregular, and body movements other than swallowing may influence the electromyography. In this paper, we describe the results of examining the method of distinguishing swallowing by actually measuring the swallowing muscle activity during sleep using electromyography.
