Music generation and emotion estimation from EEG for inducing affective states
Kana Miyamoto, Hiroki Tanaka, Satoshi Nakamura (NAIST) HCS2020-9 HIP2020-9
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We propose a music generation feedback system that compares the user's emotion estimated by EEG with the desired emotion. First, we introduced and evaluated a music generator used for emotion induction. The 108 cloud workers evaluated emotion felt by listening to the music generated by the music generator. We recorded EEG and emotion while listening to music and estimated emotion using linear regression models and ensemble regression models.
