Three-dimensional numerical simulation for harmonic guided wave by nonlinear aerial ultrasonic wave irradiation

(in English) We have studied a fast broadband imaging using harmonic by nonlinearity of high-intensity aerial ultrasonic wave and a scanning ultrasonic source technique. In a proposed method, a high-precision defect location estimation and imaging were succeeded performed by visualizing a broadband guided wave including harmonics without contact. On the other hand, in recent years, researches have been conducted to automatically determine the position and depth of a defect using a machine learning from a visualized propagation image. In order to perform the machine learning, many propagation images for learning was required, then it was difficult to perform the machine learning only with experimental results. Many researches have attempt to compensate many propagation images by numerical simulations, but it was necessary to theoretically verify the consistency with the experimental results. Therefore, in this report, we simulated the propagation of the harmonic guide wave using the finite element method and compared it with the harmonic guide wave propagation image obtained from the experiment.
