For the make use of high frequency band in the next generation mobile communication systems, MSR (Meta-Surface Reflector) which can control the reflection wave to desired direction is investigated as wireless area improvement in NLoS (Non Line of Sight) environment.
Therefore, for the sake of consideration of the received power improvement by utilizing the MSR, we measured received power in NLoS region of L-shaped corridor in indoor environment by utilizing the MSR at 28 GHz-band. From the measurement results, the cumulative distribution function value of the received power in NLoS region can be 1 dB or more improvement by effect of the MSR. |
