Wireless Power Transmission Efficiency of Folded dipole Antenna for LED Accessory

(in English) Recently, accessories such as pendants loaded with LEDs have been introduced. However, these accessories require a substrate on which a chip resistor and a power supply circuit are loaded, which hinders the design. On the other hand, there has been reported a rectenna capable of turning on an LED by turning an electronic component such as a rectifier diode into a half-wavelength dipole by energy harvesting using microwaves or WiFi radio waves. Therefore, in this research, this was transformed into a folded dipole and a rectenna embedded in a dielectric was constructed. As a result, 20% wireless power transmission efficiency was obtained at a distance of 5 mm from the rectenna by the half-wave dipole used as the wave source, and it was clarified that the LED can be turned on with a skeleton configuration accessory that does not require a circuit.
