An implusive noise detection method in noisy speech signals using the short time Fourier transform

(in English) The short-time Fourier transform based method to detect impulsive noises from speech signals is expressed. Especially We addressed to detect not only high tone noises but also low tone noises simultaneously. While the conventional methods used difference of whiteness in a frequency domain between noises and background signals, the proposed method focuses on the difference of stationarity. As conclusions, we have obtained these findings. It can be possible to detect various impulsive noises by using the stationarity of observed signals, and to extract a mean power of stationary components, we can utilize the harmonic mean operation.
