A microbenchmark service is a web service to evaluate software performance (e.g., execution time, memory consumption, and CPU usage) differences between program snippets. This study investigates whether or not software developers see the results of microbenchmark service. As a case study, we target JsPerf that is a microbenchmark service for JavaScript. As a result, we found 9,604 comments with JsPerf URL links in GitHub. In particularly, software developers frequently cited the performance results between ''for'' and ''forEach''. |
