Performance of MIMO transmission using a spatial-temporal subspace-based compressive channel estimation technique
Yasuhiro Takano (Kobe Univ.) RCS2019-367
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Channel estimation accuracy in massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems can suffer from deterioration since the parameters to be estimated are promotional to the number of transmission links. MIMO channel estimation techniques require, hence, the compressive sensing and/or subspace-based methods to distinguish the significant parameters to be estimated. We summarize recently proposed our L1 regularized spatial-temporal subspace channel estimation inspired with the independent component analysis, and discuss its MIMO transmission performance.
