Reproduction of SQAM signal for holographic memory and Estimation of recording density

(in English) Recording scheme of Spatial quadrature amplitude modulation (SQAM) signal whose amplitude and phase are individually modulated to multi-level in holographic memory is promising method to improve recording capacity of the memory. We have proposed two exposure method (TEM) in which the two holograms for different phase modulated signal is multiplex recorded in the same position and it synthesize the hologram for SQAM signal. Furthermore, we have design an interleaved phase pattern from the above two phase-codes and applied the pattern to recording holographic data of SQAM signal. In this report, we analyze the exposure region of the recording beams with respected to the resolution of the SQAM signal and estimate the effective recording density of the holographic memory using the interleaved phase method.
