This paper presents a method for event classification using Bidirectional LSTM (Bi-LSTM) in soccer videos. In soccer competitions, it is considered that the analysis is effective as time series data that can consider the context of the video because the game situation changes dynamically. Therefore, the proposed method uses Bi-LSTM, which can consider bidirectional time series, for multimodal audio-visual features obtained from soccer videos. In the proposed method, it is possible to capture changes in player movements and audience cheers, which are different for each event such as shot, foul and set-piece. Finally, this paper shows the effectiveness of the proposed method through experimentation using actual soccer videos. |
