Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Auralization requires auditory display techniques, which can physically synthesis the desired sound field. To improve synthesis accuracy at frequencies higher than the spatial Nyquist frequency corresponding to the loudspeaker density, local sound field synthesis techniques have been proposed. In this paper, we propose large-scale loudspeaker system using high-speed 1-bit signals. To evaluate the basic performance of the system, the sound image localization accuracy were investigated by using interaural level difference at different positions inside the loudspeaker array.
