In Japan, 5G System Integrated Verification Trial have been conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications to realize the fifth generation mobile communication systems (5G). In the 2018 trial project, throughput was measured in the moving train environment of 90 km/h or more, and the maximum downlink was about 2.1 Gbps in the 28GHz band. When the receiver moves, the communication quality deteriorates due to Doppler spread. Therefore, the Doppler spectrum characteristics in the circuit environment was verified as part of the 2019 trial to support a wide range of 5G usage scenarios. The measured results showed that the maximum Doppler frequency in the 4.6 GHz band was about 1.23 kHz, and it in the 27.9 GHz band was about 7.39 kHz. |
