Cochlear delay based audio information hiding with segment selection optimization
Candy Olivia Mawalim, Masashi Unoki (JAIST) EMM2019-96
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The non-blind cochlear delay (CD) based audio information hiding (AIH) has been proposed to deal with the inaudibility and robustness trade-off successfully. However, in the blindly detectable CD based AIH, the phase-shift keying (PSK) was used and caused abrupt phase changing (phase spread spectrum). In this paper, the segment selection process with spline interpolation optimization is applied to reduce the phase spread spectrum. The objective evaluation was carried out to check the detection accuracy (BDR) and the inaudibility (PEAQ and LSD) performance. The evaluation result shows that the proposed method could reduce the spread spectrum with adequate detection accuracy up to 1024 bps.
